[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] The Miryang Junior Chamber of Commerce held the '2023 Year of the Black Rabbit New Year's Greeting Ceremony' on the 4th at the Sammun-dong Culture and Sports Center in Miryang City, Gyeongnam.
The New Year's greeting ceremony, which has been held every early January, was held for the first time in three years due to the spread of COVID-19, with about 500 attendees including Mayor Park Il-ho, National Assembly member Cho Hae-jin, Miryang City Council Chairman Jeong Jeong-gyu, and heads of various institutions and organizations.
On this day, people from all walks of life had a time of harmony, discussing ways to develop the local community and exchanging well-wishes.
In his New Year's address, Mayor Park said, "Despite difficult conditions over the past year, our Miryang has united as one and achieved considerable results and development, all thanks to the cooperation and support of the citizens. We will do our best to create a city full of hope and a city with a future."
