Mokwon University Announces Recruitment for Resident Companies at Daejeon Seo-gu Youth Startup Support Center

[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Mokwon University is recruiting companies to move into the Daejeon Seo-gu Youth Startup Support Center (hereinafter referred to as the Startup Center).

According to Mokwon University on the 4th, the Startup Center is a youth startup support institution operated under university commission and is located in the Mokwon University Campus Town.

Since its opening in 2017, the Startup Center has produced over 90 youth startup companies in the past six years, serving as a strong support system for young entrepreneurs who relatively lack startup capabilities such as funding and networking.

The recruitment of new resident companies targets local youth startup companies. Young prospective entrepreneurs aged 19 to 39 with an address in Seo-gu, Daejeon, or young entrepreneurs who have registered their business within the last three years can apply.

Selected resident companies can receive support such as free use of startup space, expert mentoring, customized educational programs, and selective support projects (up to 2.5 million KRW).

The residency period is initially one year per contract and can be extended up to three years after annual evaluations.
