Free Provision of Call Points
Emart24 announced on the 4th that it will sell Dosirak eSIM (overseas eSIM) in partnership with Wide Mobile.
eSIM is a digital SIM embedded inside a smartphone device, unlike the traditional plastic SIM card. Since it is built into the device, there is no need to replace the SIM card separately, and roaming services can be used via an internet address link.
The newly introduced overseas eSIM includes various benefits as it is created by Dosirak WiFi, a leading brand of pocket WiFi. Free call points for the overseas voice call application (app) Dosirak Talk are provided, allowing approximately 150 minutes of calls to Korea based on outgoing calls.
Only models with eSIM embedded inside the smartphone device can use this service, currently available on Apple models released after iPhone XS, as well as Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 models. Prices vary by country and plan, ranging from a minimum of 3,800 KRW to 35,800 KRW.
An Emart24 official said, “In response to the increasing number of overseas travelers, we have started selling overseas eSIMs at convenience stores so that customers can easily prepare roaming services.”
