[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] On Wednesday the 4th, the whole country will generally be clear, but the cold wave caused by strong winds is expected to continue.
Until morning, there will be places on the west coast of Chungnam and Jeonbuk where less than 0.1 cm of snow will fall.
As of 7 a.m. on this day, temperatures in major areas are Seoul -4.0°C, Incheon -3.3°C, Suwon -6.3°C, Chuncheon -14.7°C, Gangneung -2.6°C, Cheongju -5.0°C, Daejeon -4.8°C, Jeonju -3.2°C, Gwangju -4.0°C, Jeju 4.3°C, Daegu -2.8°C, Busan -1.8°C, Ulsan -3.3°C, Changwon -3.5°C.
With cold wave warnings issued for the central inland and North Gyeongsang inland areas, the forecasted daytime high temperatures are between -1 and 9°C.
Due to strong winds, the wind chill temperature will be even lower, so it is important to take care of your health.
Since dry warnings are in effect for parts of the metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongdong, Gyeongsang region, and some eastern parts of Jeonnam, caution against forest fires is necessary.
Fine dust levels will be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions.
However, the Honam region and Jeju area are expected to temporarily reach 'Bad' levels at night.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
