Vice Chairman Jeong Yong-jin Attends CES... Aiming to Secure Growth Momentum

[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] Chung Yong-jin, Vice Chairman of Shinsegae Group, will attend the 'International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023' held in Las Vegas, USA, on the 5th (local time).

According to Shinsegae Group on the 3rd, Vice Chairman Chung plans to visit the CES exhibition hall from the 5th to the 8th and tour major booths.

A Shinsegae Group official stated, "He decided to attend to observe the latest technology trends and secure future growth engines for the group."

Shinsegae Group itself will not participate in this CES. Initially, Shinsegae Food considered participating but ultimately decided not to attend. However, Shinsegae Group has been steadily introducing the latest technologies into its businesses, such as implementing unmanned stores through Emart24 and announcing plans to build an international theme park in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, as a smart city.
