Shinsegae Simon Launches Premium Outlet Partnership Card with Shinhan Card

10% Discount Benefit... Applied Once Daily, Six Times Monthly

Shinsegae Simon announced on the 3rd that it will launch the ‘Premium Outlet Shinhan Card’ in collaboration with Shinhan Card.

This card is characterized by offering various discount benefits that can practically help customers in their daily lives amid the high inflation era. Customers can receive payment day discounts based on their previous month’s spending at Shinsegae Simon’s Premium Outlets in Yeoju, Paju, Busan, and Siheung, as well as at Shinsegae Group’s online and offline distribution channels. Considering the usage patterns of outlet customers who frequently use their own vehicles, fuel discount benefits are also included.

When paying at Shinsegae Simon Premium Outlets, customers can receive a 10% discount. This applies once per day and up to six times per month. If the previous month’s spending is over 400,000 KRW, a discount of up to 20,000 KRW is available; over 800,000 KRW, up to 30,000 KRW; and over 1,200,000 KRW, up to 50,000 KRW.

Discount services are also available at major Shinsegae Group distribution channels. At Emart, Traders Wholesale Club, Emart Everyday, Emart24, and SSG.com, customers can receive a 7% payment day discount up to three times per month across these channels combined, based on the previous month’s spending. The monthly discount limits by spending are 7,000 KRW for over 400,000 KRW, 15,000 KRW for over 800,000 KRW, and 30,000 KRW for over 1,200,000 KRW.

Shinsegae Simon will hold a promotional event to celebrate the launch of the co-branded card at all stores until the 31st of this month. Customers who make their first payment of 100,000 KRW or more with this card will receive a 40,000 KRW cashback (applicable to new Shinhan Card members and customers with no Shinhan Card usage history in the past six months). Additionally, customers who purchase 600,000 KRW or more on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays with this co-branded card will receive Shinsegae gift certificates worth 40,000 KRW, and those who purchase 1,000,000 KRW or more will receive gift certificates worth 70,000 KRW. New co-branded cardholders will also be upgraded to ‘VIP CLUB’ status upon joining the Shinsegae Simon membership.
