GH Appoints Kim Byung-hyo as Head of Business Planning and Three Other Division Chiefs

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) completed the appointment of three division heads earlier this month following the inauguration of President Kim Se-yong at the end of last year.

GH announced that Kim Byung-hyo, Head of the Management Planning Division, Jo Woo-hyun, Head of the Housing Business Division, and Lee Jong-seon, Head of the Economic Promotion Division, assumed their positions on the 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Kim Byung-hyo, Head of the Management Planning Division, joined Shinhan Bank in 1986 and served as branch manager, head of the Central Headquarters, and CEO of Mortgage Partners Co., Ltd. Kim will oversee management-related tasks including management planning and financial management.

Lee Jong-seon, Head of the Economic Promotion Division, joined Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation and gained diverse and specialized experience across the entire business spectrum from compensation to development and management, including strategic planning, compensation, urban redevelopment (Sewoon Project), sales, and public rental housing. Lee will be responsible for project implementation and compensation tasks such as industrial complexes going forward.

Jo Woo-hyun, Head of the Housing Business Division, holds a Ph.D. in Urban Engineering and joined GH in 2005. He has served as Director of General Affairs and Human Resources, Director of the Gwanggyo Planning Office, Director of the Future Strategy Office, Head of the Dasan New Town Project Group, and Director of the Urban Housing Research Institute (acting Head of the Strategic Business Division). Jo will oversee planning, implementation, management, and residential welfare tasks related to housing projects.

A GH official stated, "This is the first time since President Kim Se-yong's inauguration that division heads have been promoted internally," adding, "This personnel appointment is evaluated as consistent with Gyeonggi Province's personnel direction, which emphasizes expertise and capability."
