[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Daol Asset Management appointed Lee Chang-hee, former president of Hana Asset Trust, as the new CEO on the 2nd.
CEO Lee Chang-hee joined Hana Bank (formerly Seoul Bank) as a clerk in 1986 and served as head of the real estate finance team and head of the corporate sales group. He then served as vice president and CEO of Hana Asset Trust from March 2012 and was appointed president in March 2013, serving for 10 years.
As a professional manager encompassing finance and real estate, CEO Lee elevated Hana Asset Trust’s order performance and net profit to the top tier of the industry during his tenure. He also contributed to the growth of the REITs sector. Until 2015, he concurrently served as CEO of Hana Alternative Investment Asset Management, a subsidiary of Hana Asset Trust, focusing on strengthening both internal stability and external growth.
A Daol Asset Management official said, "He is the type who personally takes care of employees to the extent of memorizing all employees' names and family details," and added, "We expect him to lead Daol Asset Management’s sustainable growth."
