On the 2nd, Superintendent Lim held the "2023 New Year's First Staff Meeting" at Sopungmaru in the Northern Office of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education in Uijeongbu, stating, "Autonomy, balance, and future are the most important keywords that permeate the educational activities we aim for," and urged, "Please focus your energy on supporting schools so that the curriculum can be well operated in schools according to this direction."
He also added, "A choir cannot perform alone," saying, "Each person raises their own voice, and only when it harmonizes with the voices of others is it completed. Let us find our roles, work and communicate freely, and create the goals of Gyeonggi education together."
The first staff meeting of the new year was planned to share the vision of Gyeonggi education, "The center of future education, new Gyeonggi education," to enhance the momentum for promoting Gyeonggi education policies and to actively communicate.
It was broadcast live via video conferencing system and YouTube, allowing about 1,100 employees of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, including not only the Northern Office staff but also the Southern Office, Education Support Offices, and affiliated institutions, to participate together.
