Yang In-seok Appointed as the 24th Chief of Jeju Fire Station

[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Yang In-seok has been inaugurated as the 24th Chief of Jeju Fire Station.

Jeju Fire Station (Chief Yang In-seok) announced that on the 2nd, it held the inauguration ceremony for the 24th Chief Yang In-seok in the main conference room of the station, attended by about 40 people including fire officers and volunteer fire brigade leaders.

Chief Yang, a native of Aewol-eup, Jeju City, entered public service in 2001 as a fire officer candidate and has held key positions such as Chief of Seogwipo Fire Station, Director of Prevention and Response at Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters, and Director of the 119 Integrated Situation Room.

Chief Yang is recognized as a commander with both planning skills and on-site command ability, having extensive experience in proactive disaster accident response, administration, and prevention fields.

Chief Yang In-seok said, “I will do my best to protect the lives and property of Jeju residents through field-centered firefighting activities tailored to the characteristics of the Jeju region.”
