[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Song Jong-gu] Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 2nd that 10 promising startups from Changwon will participate in CES2023 (Consumer Electronic Show), the world's largest electronics exhibition, held in Las Vegas, USA from January 5 to 8, 2024.
The 10 startups, finally selected for CES, known as the most influential IT festival in the world, are expected to showcase remarkable innovative technologies.
The participating companies are Edenlux (medical devices for vision improvement), GSF System (hydroponic Mind Farm showcase), ICU Vision Care (VR medical devices for strabismus correction), Luxwagon (electric wheelboards connectable to various mobile carts), Safe Dream (ICT convergence smart vehicle shock absorbers), SJ Solution (automated food equipment for donut manufacturing), Miracleair (digital medical devices for sleep bruxism relief), DX Solutions (RPA office automation solutions), Neo Health Technology (UAM aviation electronic systems), and Eflow (hydrogen fuel cell electric bicycles).
In particular, Edenlux received the Innovation Award in the Digital Health category, and GSF System received the Innovation Award in the Smart Home category, recognizing their world-class technological capabilities.
This CES2023 will be held on the largest scale since 2020, with over 2,800 companies from more than 170 countries participating worldwide, unlike CES2022, which was downsized due to the spread of the Omicron variant.
Changwon Special City plans to actively support the 10 companies by covering CES participation fees, airfare, promotion, and logistics costs for this exhibition, and to provide a stepping stone for attracting investment and expanding overseas during the event period.
