[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] Jung Jae-hoon, CEO of Dong-A Socio Holdings, stated in his New Year's address on the 2nd, "2023 is the first step toward the 100th anniversary of Dong-A Socio Group," and urged, "We must become a company that grows together with society." Dong-A Socio Group celebrated its 90th anniversary on the 1st of last month.

On the same day, Dong-A Socio Group held its 2023 opening ceremony in the large auditorium on the 7th floor of its headquarters in Yongdu-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, attended by executives and employees including Jung Jae-hoon, CEO of Dong-A Socio Holdings, Kim Min-young, CEO of Dong-A ST, Choi Ho-jin, Vice Chairman of Dong-A Pharmaceutical, and Baek Sang-hwan, CEO of Dong-A Pharmaceutical.

The opening ceremony proceeded with greetings among executives and employees and the New Year's address. All attendees hoped that the year would be one of challenging limits and striving toward goals, pledging a vigorous new start.

In his New Year's address, CEO Jung emphasized, "Social responsibility is not something grand but fulfilling each one's own duties," and urged, "Even in very trivial matters, we must fulfill our roles responsibly and become a company that grows together with society." He further emphasized open communication and encouraged the active practice of human rights management to respect the human rights of all members and pursue happy immersion, while addressing issues faced by society, companies, and markets to secure growth momentum.
