On the 2nd, in his 2023 New Year's address, CEO Kim stated, "We must focus on diversifying the business structure, which has been concentrated in the housing sector, and establish it as a major pillar of our business," adding, "Based on this, we need to create a mid- to long-term and stable portfolio."

In particular, CEO Kim emphasized the fundamental strengthening of internal capabilities. He said, "We need to shift from a people-centered work system to a system-centered one," and added, "We must digitize the scattered experiences, know-how, and data to turn them into assets and establish standardized criteria and processes company-wide."

He continued, "Although the internal and external environment is harsh, above all, we must maintain a sense of urgency and make extraordinary efforts to overcome the crisis we are already facing."

Kolon Global achieved various orders last year, starting with the joint development project of the 3rd phase mixed-use complex in Seonhwa-dong, Daejeon, and including the railway technical bidding for the 2nd section of the Yeoju-Wonju project. Notably, Kolon Global secured major projects such as the 'Haneulchae' single brand brand town in Beondong 1-6 districts, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, and the Changwon Towol remodeling project, entering the 1 trillion KRW club for urban maintenance orders last year.

Kolon Global is also striving to secure new growth engines. As the leader in onshore wind power market share, Kolon Global obtained approval in September last year from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy for the 400MW 'Wando Jangbogo Offshore Wind Power Project,' expanding its scope to offshore wind power and repowering sectors. Additionally, through eco-friendly technologies such as water treatment, it is strengthening its identity as a renewable energy business operator. Recently, it signed MOUs for major overseas projects including Saudi Arabia's NEOM City and Indonesia's capital relocation, demonstrating active progress in overseas business as well.
