Presenting an Innovation Growth Platform Supporting Technology Companies from Startup to Scale-up

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 2nd that it held a New Year's ceremony and a new vision proclamation ceremony at its Busan headquarters with the attendance of about 350 executives and employees.

Kibo declared its new vision as "An innovative growth platform that supports technology companies from Start up to Scale up" to faithfully implement the new government's national agenda and actively respond to the rapidly changing management environment. The core values for executives and employees to practice were set as fairness, innovation, and solidarity.

The new vision signifies that Kibo will play a pivotal role in enabling dynamic innovative growth by providing various customized services at each growth stage to technology companies with excellent technology and content through solidarity with the private and public sectors.

In his New Year's address, Chairman Kim Jong-ho said, "Last year, Kibo supported dynamic innovative growth centered on small and medium venture businesses and took the lead in helping small business owners and self-employed individuals overcome the COVID-19 crisis." He presented three key tasks for this year: ▲ expanding technology finance support to respond to the complex economic crisis and create an innovative growth ecosystem ▲ demonstrating capabilities as a technology evaluation specialized institution through the advancement of the technology evaluation system and expansion of private sector openness ▲ establishing a future-oriented management foundation through efficient management innovation promotion and active support for ESG management.

Chairman Kim also emphasized the importance of internal control to the executives and employees, urging them to "check for any fraudulent acts or conflicts of interest during work processes and participate in innovation to make a better Kibo, higher integrity and ethical awareness than now, and creating an organizational culture that understands and considers others' feelings."
