Busan City Joins 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign' Fundraising Drive... Donates 13.04 Million Won

Voluntary Participation of Employees from City Departments, City Council, and Fire Disaster Headquarters in Fundraising Efforts

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Busan City is participating in the 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign' fundraising movement with city employees as the year-end and New Year approach.

The total donation amount delivered by the city this time is 13,046,000 KRW, which was voluntarily collected by employees from all departments of Busan City, the City Council, the Fire and Disaster Headquarters, and other affiliated staff since December 1st.

The city entrusted the donations, carefully collected by the employees, to KNN, and the funds will be used to support low-income vulnerable groups and neighbors in welfare blind spots who are going through difficult times due to COVID-19.

Lee Su-il, Director of the Administrative Autonomy Bureau of the city, said, "We express our gratitude to the employees who voluntarily participated in the 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign' to create a warm social atmosphere full of sharing during the year-end and New Year and to deliver the warmth and love of citizens." He added, "We ask many citizens to participate together to instill hope and courage in the lives of local neighbors."

Busan City and the Busan Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Choi Geum-sik) have been conducting the 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign' fundraising movement from December 1st to January 31st of next year.

Those who wish to participate can inquire at the Busan Community Chest of Korea or donate through the donation reception desks at nearby district or county offices or administrative welfare centers in the region, as well as broadcasting station donation reception desks.

It is also easy to participate by phone, and participation is possible through online account transfers and other methods.
