[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyoon] Lee Soon-hyung, Chairman of the SeAH Group, emphasized focusing on opportunities rather than crises, urging to "turn the upcoming era of great change into a 'chance for leap forward.'"

In his New Year's address on the 2nd, Chairman Lee said, "Although crises are intensifying worldwide, if we look at it from a different perspective, SeAH has the resilience to respond agilely and find opportunities amid changes in the business environment and numerous crisis situations over the past 60 years, resulting in continuous growth."

He added, "Based on this capability, let us focus on 'opportunities' rather than 'crises' while responding to the rapid changes in the world order and deepening uncertainties," and urged, "We must solidify a sustainable management foundation through bold challenges and investments."

Chairman Lee mentioned that 'innovation' and 'growth' are essential ongoing tasks. He said, "Since the COVID-19 pandemic, a strong wave of change that shakes the existing order has been sweeping the global market," and "We must unwaveringly turn this current industrial transformation period into a 'valuable time for SeAH,' not a 'crisis.'"

He also stated, "We must not neglect the era's demands for environmental protection and securing workplace safety in the slightest."

Finally, Chairman Lee said, "To realize our ideals, the united strength of the organization must support us," and "I believe that the passion of each SeAH member who fiercely challenges and tries will become a powerful driving force opening SeAH's sustainable future."
