Increase Self-Choice Gift Options
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] AK Plaza announced on the 2nd that it will begin full-scale sales of Lunar New Year gift sets at the food halls of its Bundang, Suwon, and Pyeongtaek branches until the 23rd of this month.
AK Plaza is expanding its 'Self Choice Gift' offerings. The Self Choice Gift is a DIY-type gift set where customers can select high-quality seafood, meat, and fruit, directly procured by AK Plaza's food halls, and assemble them into gift sets of desired sizes and forms to express gratitude. A representative product is the mid-range Korean beef 'Self Choice Gift,' available from the low 100,000 KRW range to the mid 200,000 KRW range depending on the composition.
Various price promotions have also been prepared. Customers who purchase Lunar New Year gift sets above a certain amount using an AK Card at AK Plaza's Bundang, Suwon, and Pyeongtaek branches will receive a 5% gift certificate. Customers who purchase fruit and beef gift sets with an AK Card at the same stores will receive a 7% gift certificate based on the combined purchase amount.
AK Mall is also running various price promotions until the 18th in celebration of the Lunar New Year. AK Mall offers a payback promotion that returns up to 10% of the purchase amount as points when buying Lunar New Year gift products. Customers who use the gift service for purchases over 30,000 KRW will receive an additional 10% of the purchase amount.
An AK Plaza official said, “In response to the spread of frugal consumption trends due to high inflation, we have planned gift sets that can satisfy both customers’ tastes and practicality,” adding, “We hope everyone enjoys a joyful and abundant Lunar New Year holiday with the 2023 Lunar New Year gift sets.”
