Fire at Commercial Building in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul... No Casualties Reported

Fire extinguished in 10 minutes by firefighters... Cause of fire to be investigated

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] At around 7:15 AM on the 2nd, a fire broke out in a first-floor restaurant of a commercial building in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

The fire department completed extinguishing the fire at around 7:32 AM, about 10 minutes after receiving the report. The firefighters discovered smoke coming from the first-floor restaurant, opened the door, and focused water spraying on the fire source.

There were no reported casualties due to the fire.

Meanwhile, the fire department plans to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the extent of property damage.
