UP Appliances to Add 'Microplastic Care Course' Soon

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Yeju] LG Electronics announced on the 2nd that it will launch the largest capacity LG Tromm dryer and Tromm WashTower in Korea within this month.
LG Electronics will introduce seven types of Tromm dryers, including the LG Objet Collection lineup for space interior appliances, and eight types of one-body washer-dryer Tromm WashTower new products. The drying capacity is 21kg, the largest among home dryers in Korea.
In particular, the new LG Tromm WashTower (representative model name: W21EGH) consists of a 25kg capacity washer at the bottom and a 21kg capacity dryer at the top, making it the largest among home products in Korea. Both the Tromm dryer and WashTower have increased drying capacity compared to the existing 20kg Tromm dryers and WashTowers, but the product exterior size remains the same, enhancing space utilization. The new products also inherit the technology of LG Tromm dryer's 6-motion drying and deep learning AI.
LG Electronics plans to provide the 'Microplastic Care Course' as an upgrade within this year for LG UP appliances washers and WashTowers, which allow adding functions after purchase. This is part of LG Electronics' ESG management efforts to protect the environment by reducing microplastic emissions generated during washing.
The new product prices are 2.14 million KRW for the Tromm dryer and 4.29 million KRW for the Tromm WashTower, based on the shipment price.
