2023 Suncheonman International Garden Expo Organizing Committee Full Support for Personnel
Providing Fair Opportunities and Creating a Working Atmosphere with Selected Personnel
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu) has carried out the regular personnel reshuffle for the first half of 2023 along with the organizational restructuring of the 8th local government administration.
In this personnel reshuffle, a total of 103 people were promoted, including 4 at grade 4, 13 approved for promotion to grade 5, 11 at grade 6, 25 at grade 7, and 50 at grade 8, and 348 people were transferred.
Regarding promotions, the promoted personnel were decided based on the promotion candidate list ranking, comprehensively considering organizational contribution and work performance.
They aimed to transform into a working organization by spreading the awareness that promotions require both character and competence.
For transfers, employees with skills and abilities were concentrated in departments executing the vision of the 8th local government administration, such as the Youth Policy Division, Transportation Policy Division, Culture and Arts Division, and Urban Space Regeneration Division, while hardworking employees were distributed to each department considering their capabilities and potential for development.
Efforts were also made to discover employees who had not had opportunities so far and provide them with chances to work.
Additionally, in line with the hosting of the 2023 Suncheonman International Garden Expo next year, the Suncheonman International Garden Expo Organizing Committee was fully supported with personnel to accelerate the success of the expo.
A Suncheon City official stated, “Through this personnel reshuffle, we have completed the last puzzle of the organizational restructuring of the 8th local government administration by placing personnel in the right positions, and we will focus on realizing the vision of the 8th local government administration by discovering future talent employees who will lead the first-class city Suncheon.”
