[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Dooyul] Lee Seungjin, a third-year student in the Department of Advertising and PR at Dongmyung University, received the President's Commendation for seven awards and 135 hours of volunteer work in the second half of this year.
Over the past year, Lee Seungjin has served as an executive member of the Busan University Football Association (BUFA) and volunteered at the 27th Busan International Film Festival.
Additionally, on the 23rd, he was awarded a social service activity certificate recognizing 135 hours of volunteer work over the past year, and also received the Excellence Award in the KBO NINE program, a joint program between the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) and 10 universities.
He won the Excellence Award in the ‘Good Writing Contest’ held by Dongmyung University's College of Liberal Arts in September and was also selected as a finalist in the Busan-Gyeongnam region at the Korea University Advertising Competition in November.
On the 6th, he was recognized for his achievements in his major over the past year and received the third-year Major Excellence Award and a Merit Award, and on the 9th, he won the Bronze Prize in the campus Doing Video Contest.
He also served as the team leader in the ‘Double Mentoring’ program led by Professor Lee Jungki of the Department of Advertising and PR and Jang Eunseok, team leader of the Busan International Film Festival.
Professor Lee Jungki, head of the Department of Advertising and PR, said, “Lee Seungjin is a talented individual proficient in both theory and practice, having served as the third-year student council president and gained practical experience in sports marketing through his role as a public administrator of the EPL Manchester United Facebook page.”
