[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-gwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk, will recruit participants for the 'Senior Career-type Job Project' organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor starting January 2 next year.
According to the city on the 30th, this job project is designed to provide social service jobs needed by the local community to retired professionals and support their transition to private sector jobs through work experience.
The city plans to recruit without regional restrictions to contribute to population inflow, but for those residing outside the area, the condition is that they must maintain their address in Namwon once confirmed as participants.
This recruitment covers a total of 51 positions across 13 projects in 6 fields including regional services. The required experience includes ▲ electricity, safety, civil engineering ▲ vocational counseling, social work ▲ groundwater, geology, industry ▲ nursing experience in medical institutions ▲ rural guidance, processing-related, inland aquaculture, and fields related to returning to farming and rural areas.
Additionally, applicants aged between 50 and under 65 who are unemployed and have more than 3 years of experience or qualifications in ▲ librarian and reading guidance-related qualifications or library work experience ▲ firefighting, organizing and storage ▲ garden landscaping, garden and forest counseling psychology therapy fields ▲ lacquerware, polishing, woodworking experience are eligible to apply.
Those wishing to participate can download the application form from the announcement section on the city’s website and submit it to the Namwon City Job Center by January 13 next year.
Hwang Do-yeon, Director of the Job Economy Division, said, “We hope this will be an opportunity to start a second life by continuously utilizing the expertise and experience accumulated so far,” and added, “Senior individuals who want to contribute their pre-retirement experience to the local community can register their careers through counseling at the Namwon City Job Center, and we will actively use this for government job project applications to provide many jobs.”
