[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] The Korea Broadcasting Channel Promotion Association announced on the 28th that Park Ran, CEO of Dong-A TV, has been inaugurated as the 4th president.

President Park has been active in the broadcasting channel operator (PP) industry for over 20 years, serving as the head of the faculty at the KIPA Directors School of the Independent Producers Association, chairman of the Korea Small Broadcasting Channel Association, and is currently CEO of Dong-A TV, Polaris TV, and Dstory.

President Park stated, "In the rapidly changing domestic broadcasting market environment, I will strive to establish a foundation for PP operators to gain competitiveness and develop, gather the consensus of member companies, and create a virtuous cycle structure in the pay broadcasting market."
