Review of Safety Management Plan and Disaster Response Plan
Gwak Geun-seok, Deputy Governor of Hamyang County, is conducting a meeting of the Gotgam Safety Management Committee.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that the Regional Festival Safety Management Committee was held at the Disaster Comprehensive Situation Room, chaired by Deputy County Governor Kwak Geun-seok, to ensure a safe festival without accidents ahead of the 7th Hamyang Gojongsi Gotgam Festival.
The Hamyang-gun Safety Management Committee, composed of related organizations including the county, Hamyang Office of Education, police station, fire station, military units, and external civilian appointed members, reviewed and deliberated the safety management plan for the 7th Hamyang Gojongsi Gotgam Festival and discussed cooperation matters among related organizations for safe event promotion.
In addition, prior to the festival, safety inspections of the event site and stage will be conducted, and continuous activities such as guidance to prevent accidents and casualties during the festival period will be carried out to ensure a safe festival.
Deputy County Governor Kwak said, “The 7th Hamyang Gojongsi Gotgam Festival is an important festival to promote the sales of Gotgam, a representative agricultural specialty product of our Hamyang-gun, and it is expected that many residents as well as tourists will participate,” adding, “Please do your best to cooperate with related organizations so that everyone can enjoy the festival safely and happily.”
Hamyang-gun plans to hold the ‘7th Hamyang Gojongsi Gotgam Festival’ for three days from the 30th to January 1st at Sangnim Park, promoting and selling Hamyang Gotgam, along with experience events and sales of agricultural and specialty products.
