[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will begin the recently implemented organizational restructuring personnel changes and the regular personnel appointments for the first half of next year starting from the 30th of this month.
The province will first carry out personnel transfers, reappointments, and some relocations related to the recent organizational restructuring on the 30th of this month.
Earlier, the province prepared an organizational restructuring plan focused on realizing the three major visions of the 8th elected Gyeonggi Province administration: "More Opportunities, Fairer Opportunities, Better Opportunities." This restructuring plan was passed by the Gyeonggi Provincial Council on the 12th.
The province expects that this organizational restructuring will accelerate the implementation of Governor Kim Dong-yeon's key policies, such as discovering future growth industries and the Opportunity Package, starting next year.
Along with personnel changes related to the restructuring, the province will also announce on the same day the appointments of department heads for eight newly established positions out of the 17 department head-level positions recently opened for internal recruitment to promote Governor Kim Dong-yeon's priority projects.
On January 1st next year, personnel changes for division and bureau chiefs as well as deputy heads of local governments will be made. Personnel appointments for grade 4 department heads are scheduled for January 10th, ten days later. On that day, appointments for the remaining nine department head positions selected through internal recruitment will also be announced.
Personnel appointments for grade 5 team leaders will be on January 26th next year, and appointments for grade 6 and below will be on February 13th next year.
