From the 27th to 31st at Sejong University Gwanggaeto Hall Sejong Art Gallery
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] Despite the hardships of daily life due to COVID-19 and the difficult economic situation, artist Choi Gil-su's solo exhibition, which aims to share small happiness and hope, will be held from the 27th to the 31st at Sejong University Gwanggaeto Hall Sejong Art Gallery.
In this exhibition titled "A Heart-Throbbing Hopeful New Year," artist Choi will showcase about 20 works created during his spare moments after work.
These are fairy-tale-like paintings that breathe warm life into simple stories with nature. The smiling expressions of the figures in the paintings and the fresh colors provide visitors, weary from their busy lives, with a comfortable and restful time.
Artist Choi said, "When life is difficult, what comforts me even a little might be the chirping of birds encountered during a refreshing morning walk or the flowers that catch my eye while walking along the street." He added, "I wanted to express such feelings in my works." He further stated, "I hope people empty their minds and live with gratitude for nature, and through this exhibition, I wish for visitors to heal their wounded hearts, feel happiness, and have a moment to rest."
At this exhibition, visitors can also find New Year calendar collections and goods produced in collaboration with various companies by artist Choi.
