Providing Quality Medical Services... Daedong Hospital and Busan Hongbeopsa Sign Business Agreement

Officials from Daedong Hospital and Hongbeopsa are signing an agreement.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Duyul] Daedong Hospital signed a business agreement with Hongbeopsa Temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, located in Dugudong, Geumjeong-gu, Busan, on the 22nd.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ven. Simsang, the head monk of Hongbeopsa Temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, about 700 believers, and Daedong Hospital's Hong Byungho, Head of Management Support Department, Park Sanghee, Head of External Cooperation Team, and Jang Hanmin, Chief of the Medical Affairs Department.

Based on trust and cooperation, the two organizations signed a business agreement to provide high-quality medical services to improve the health of local residents and to promote mutual development in various fields such as internal and external social contribution activities and work support.

Hong Byungho, Head of Management Support Department at Daedong Hospital, said, "Through this agreement, we will cooperate to ensure that Hongbeopsa Temple believers and local residents can receive high-quality medical services, and we will strive to become a hospital that cares for the health of socially vulnerable groups who are struggling and marginalized."

Daedong Hospital was designated as the only regional emergency medical center in the integrated area including parts of Dongnae-gu, Geumjeong-gu, Buk-gu, Yeonje-gu, and Haeundae-gu in 2019, providing specialized medical services to severe emergency patients.

Hongbeopsa Temple, which established a circular main hall in 2009 for the modernization of Buddhism, has about 8,000 registered members and carries out various activities such as Hongbeop Peace Lanterns, Temple Stay, and Temple Life.
