Danggeun Market Connects 164 Million Used Transactions This Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] It has been reported that 164 million secondhand transactions were connected through Danggeun Market this year. The cumulative number of Danggeun Market users has increased to 32 million. Danggeun Market (co-CEOs Kim Yong-hyun and Hwang Do-yeon) announced this on the 23rd by releasing the '2022 Year-End Settlement Data,' which allows users to look back on the year as the year-end approaches.

As of December, the cumulative number of Danggeun Market users reached 32 million, with over 10 million new users joining compared to the end of last year. The total number of connections made through secondhand transactions on Danggeun Market throughout the year was 164 million, of which 10 million were acts of sharing warm hearts with neighbors. The resource circulation effect through secondhand transactions and sharing was analyzed to be equivalent to planting 120 million pine trees.

On the local community bulletin board 'Dongne Saenghwal,' 22 million communications took place this year. This represents a 10% increase compared to last year, indicating that exchanges among neighbors through Dongne Saenghwal are becoming more active. In particular, 'Gatchi Sayo,' a service where neighbors can gather to purchase items together on Dongne Saenghwal, has seen a 47% increase in the number of posts in the last two months compared to the previous two months since its launch in July.

Hwang Do-yeon, CEO of Danggeun Market, said, "This year, we introduced various services that allow me to connect and communicate more closely with neighbors in my local community through Danggeun Market, realizing our vision as a regional community," adding, "We will strive to bring about various positive changes in the local community."
