[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Hansol Group announced on the 21st that it will introduce a solution platform that implements employment in the form of telecommuting for people with disabilities.
The platform aims to fulfill corporate social responsibility amid the growing importance of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, while creating a 'win-win' situation for both companies and people with disabilities through telecommuting.
People with disabilities face difficulties in commuting and limited social perception, making it hard to find job opportunities. Hansol Group plans to provide employment opportunities to people with disabilities and support smooth company operations through the introduction of this platform.
Hansol Group will proceed with hiring people with disabilities through the solution platform provided by V-Dream, a company specializing in employment support for people with disabilities. Currently, Hansol Logistics, Hansol PNS, and Hansol Inticube are promoting hiring for people with disabilities.
The hired individuals will perform support tasks such as document and data management and article clipping. Welfare benefits such as tuition, medical expenses, and health checkups will be provided equally as for existing employees.
A Hansol Group official stated, “As a company that fulfills corporate social responsibility and respects human rights, we have introduced an employment platform for people with disabilities,” adding, “We will focus on creating an environment where companies and society can coexist.”
