Changwon Daycare Center, Fundraising for Abused Children Support Funds

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Teachers and children at a daycare center in Changwon-si, Gyeongnam, raised funds to protect children from abuse and support abused children.

The Changwon Child Protection Agency announced on the 20th that it received the donation at Hills Small Forest Daycare Center in Uichang-gu and conducted education for the children about the agency's role and how the funds would be used.

According to the agency, the donated funds from the daycare center will be used for psychological treatment costs for abused children, counseling and treatment program operation costs for abusers, and child abuse prevention projects.

Director Park Jeongsuk said, "I hope this was a time when the children could feel the joy and fulfillment of sharing," and added, "I pray that the hearts of the children at our daycare center reach the abused children."
