[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Air Busan will resume operations on the Busan-Taipei route and increase flights on Southeast Asian routes starting from the 21st.


Air Busan will restart its Taiwan route after 2 years and 10 months with flight BX793 departing from Gimhae Airport to Taipei, Taiwan on the 21st.


Air Busan's Busan-Taipei route departs from Gimhae International Airport at 11:05 AM and arrives at Taoyuan Airport at 12:35 PM local time. The return flight departs from the local airport at 1:35 PM and arrives at Gimhae International Airport at 5:00 PM.


The flight schedule operates once daily round-trip, with a flight time of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.


Starting from the 21st, Air Busan will also significantly increase flights on Southeast Asian routes.


The Busan-Kota Kinabalu route will resume operations four times a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The Busan-Bangkok and Busan-Da Nang routes, currently operating 2 to 4 times a week, will increase to daily round-trip flights. The Busan-Nha Trang route will also increase from twice a week to four times a week.


The Incheon-Bangkok, Incheon-Nha Trang, and Incheon-Kota Kinabalu routes will also increase to up to daily round-trip flights, expanding route share at Incheon Airport.


An Air Busan official stated, “The Taipei route has a balanced mix of inbound and outbound travelers, and the resumption of this route is expected not only to enhance convenience for domestic travelers but also to attract Taiwanese tourists, helping the local tourism industry to recover.”
