[News] Gwangjin-gu Council Chairman Chu Yoon-gu Receives Appreciation Plaque from Army Chief of Staff

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 14th, Chu Yoon-gu, Chairman of the Gwangjin-gu Council, received a plaque of appreciation from the Chief of Staff of the Army in the chairman's office.

The plaque of appreciation, issued in the name of the Chief of Staff of the Army, is awarded considering factors such as the scale of manpower support funds, performance in integrated defense training, and collaboration with each neighborhood and reserve forces battalion. Among all autonomous districts nationwide, Chairman Chu Yoon-gu of Gwangjin-gu was the only recipient.

On this day, Battalion Commander Heo Jun of the 221st Infantry Brigade delivered the plaque on behalf of Army Chief of Staff Park Jeong-hwan.

Chairman Chu Yoon-gu said, “I am grateful for the hard work of the national military personnel and reservists who strive for local defense. We will continue to actively support the development of homeland defense through cooperation between the government and the military.”
