While tangy and sweet orange juice is always a good choice, grape juice, with its deeper flavor, is even better. Many people probably remember pouring grape juice into a clear cup as a child, pretending it was wine. As we grow older, coffee often becomes the drink of choice over juice, but sometimes, we crave the sweetness that brings back those childhood memories. When you want to savor the sweetness of grape juice rather than the freshness of orange juice, that's the feeling. Since grape juice doesn't come in as many varieties as orange juice, I decided to buy the three most well-known brands to search for the taste of nostalgia.

Since I wanted to drink a lot, I bought large-sized bottles. From the left: Minute Maid Grape, Achim Ae Juice Grape, and Del Monte Cold Grape. All three products have a beautiful purple hue, but as soon as you open the cap and take a sip, each reveals its own unique character. Which one will earn the title of "most delicious juice"?

Candidate 1
Del Monte Cold

Del Monte Cold boasted the richest flavor. Just as the packaging says-100% grape juice, natural grape flavor, and citric acid-it offered a full-bodied grape aroma. There was even a hint of wine, making me think it would taste great mixed with soju.

Even after pouring it into a cup several times, there was almost no foam, and the drink filled the cup with a deep red grape color. Unlike the other two products, this one contains citric acid and other ingredients. If you enjoy the deep, rich taste and aroma of real grapes, you'll be satisfied with Cold.

Achim Ae Juice

Achim Ae Juice had the most disappointing flavor in terms of sweetness, tartness, and overall taste. It's bland and feels like something is missing, but it does remind you of the grape juice you drank as a child. It's that cheap grape juice you used to buy with friends in front of the school. Drinking it in the morning might even make you feel like you're back in your school days. No, I'm an adult now! (snap snap)

Achim Ae Juice is good for those moments when you want to reminisce about the past.

Minute Maid

Minute Maid offered the most refreshing flavor. I kept alternating between Cold and Minute Maid, trying to decide which tasted richer. Even though it's a taste I buy often, focusing on it this time made it feel different, as it stood out for its unique tartness among the three products. I hadn't noticed this when drinking only Minute Maid, so my teammate and I were both impressed. Compared to Cold, it feels less heavy and rich, but it's much more refreshing and sweet.

Looking at the ingredients, it's packed with vitamins, citric acid, steviol glycosides, and zinc. When poured, it has a red wine color. It may look watery, but the taste is anything but! I think this juice does a great job of capturing the sweet and tangy flavor of grapes.

Clap, clap, clap! Del Monte Cold Grape Juice has been chosen as the most delicious grape juice. Of course, some people might prefer the refreshing taste of Minute Maid. However, Cold stood out for its deep grape flavor and aroma, which is why it was my final pick. I think it perfectly captures both the sweetness you taste when licking grape skin and the subtle bitterness you experience at the same time. Holding a sip of Cold in my mouth and closing my eyes, I could almost imagine myself in a grape vineyard (*Please understand, that's just my 100% N-type MBTI imagination).
