[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Ediya Coffee announced on the 15th that it has launched a Franchisee Council to strengthen mutual growth and coexistence with the headquarters.
The Ediya Coffee Franchisee Council was voluntarily formed to create a more active communication channel between the headquarters and franchise stores and to achieve mutual growth through understanding and consultation.
The inauguration ceremony of the Franchisee Council held on the 14th at the headquarters building located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul was attended by seven franchise owners, including Kim Seungtae, owner of the Seoul Dangsan Central branch who was elected as the council president, along with executives and employees of the headquarters. The Ediya Coffee Franchisee Council is a nationwide integrated council that has prepared for the inauguration ceremony through various processes such as forming a steering committee and electing the council president to expand active communication channels among over 3,000 franchise stores nationwide and to promote cooperation and coexistence with the headquarters. Accordingly, the Ediya Coffee Win-Win Cooperation Team has provided the venue necessary for the inauguration ceremony and actively supported the event, building a continuous cooperative relationship.
On this day, the Ediya Coffee Win-Win Cooperation Team announced plans to hold quarterly meetings with the Franchisee Council to actively listen to voices from the field. Furthermore, they stated that they will visit regional stores by district on a monthly basis to identify practical needs for store operations and strive to become a trusted headquarters.
Kim Seungtae, president of the Franchisee Council, said, “We aim to promote the development of Ediya Coffee through rational and wise consultations with the franchise headquarters,” and added, “We will play a role in gathering diverse opinions and voices from franchise owners from the perspective of franchise stores and lead an integrated and mutually beneficial council.”
