On the 14th, graduates are taking commemorative photos after the "Dream Start Graduation Ceremony" at Yeongyang County Youth Center.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gui-yeol] On the 14th, Dream Start in Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk held a "Dream Start Graduation Ceremony" with 22 Dream Start graduates and their families at the Yeongyang-gun Youth Training Center.
Dream Start provides growth-stage services to offer equal opportunities to children from vulnerable groups, and held the graduation ceremony to encourage and support children turning 12, when the service ends.
The graduation ceremony included certificate presentations, reading of graduates' letters, a wish card writing session linked with the Yeongyang-gun Youth Counseling Welfare Center to help think ahead about middle school life, and a photo zone Polaroid commemorative photo session, which received enthusiastic responses from the children.
Student Park, who attended the graduation ceremony, said, "I feel sad to leave Dream Start, which I have been with for six years. I also want to express my gratitude to the Dream Start teachers who warmly cared for me," with tears in their eyes.
Oh Do-chang, the mayor of Yeongyang-gun, said, "Although the children are graduating and leaving Dream Start, I hope they grow up properly without losing their dreams and hopes during adolescence, based on the experiences and learning they have had."
