According to Incheon City on the 14th, the demonstration center, which invested 21.6 billion KRW in national and project funds, is a comprehensive research support facility for small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies to foster the material, parts, and equipment industry, the backbone and core of manufacturing competitiveness and the foundation of the 4th Industrial Revolution, and to strengthen technological capabilities.

The demonstration center is located within a knowledge industry center near Hogupo Station in Namdong-gu, covering an area of 3,306㎡, and includes a pilot production and demonstration support factory building, analysis and evaluation support laboratories, offices, and shared research and support spaces for companies.

It is equipped with 46 types of pilot production and demonstration support process equipment such as parts and materials molding and process intelligence experiment equipment, and 111 types of analysis and evaluation support equipment including X-ray analysis and sample physical property testing.

Additionally, more than 50 experts including master's and doctoral degree holders reside within the center to provide rapid and specialized customized comprehensive support services for companies in various fields, such as solving technical difficulties, developing core technologies, prototype production and certification, introducing overseas technologies, and supporting overseas market development.
