15 Universities with Early Employment Contract Departments, Regular Admission Recruitment

The early employment-type contract departments promoted by the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology will begin regular admission application submissions from December 29. Regular universities will close their regular admissions on January 2, 2023, and junior colleges will close on January 12, 2023.

For regular universities, the program is operated in a total of 31 departments across 8 universities: ▲Gachon University ▲Kyungil University ▲Dong-Eui University ▲Mokpo National University ▲Soonchunhyang University ▲Chonnam National University ▲Korea Polytechnic University ▲Hanyang University ERICA campus.

For junior colleges, the program is operated at a total of 7 universities: ▲Gyeonggi College of Science and Technology ▲Gumi University ▲Donggang University ▲Dong-Eui Institute of Technology ▲Myongji College ▲Baekseok Culture University ▲Busan Institute of Science and Technology.

The early employment-type contract departments project, launched in 2018, is a program where universities and small to medium-sized enterprises sign contracts (agreements) to cultivate talent equipped with practical field skills. Companies bear part of the educational expenses necessary for workforce training, and universities jointly develop and operate curricula tailored to the companies' needs, thereby supplying customized talent to the companies.

Since universities and companies jointly select students based on the hiring standards of the contracted companies and promise employment, admission to the 'early employment-type contract departments' guarantees employment upon enrollment. From the second year, students work as employees while balancing work and study, enabling them to obtain a 4-year bachelor's degree in 3 years or a 2-year associate degree in 1 year and 6 months.
