[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Trip.com announced on the 14th that it has provided financial support to Every Mother and Child (hereinafter EMC), which runs crisis support projects for migrant and multicultural families.

Trip.com held a ceremony on the 12th to deliver donated goods and crisis support funds. The event was attended by EMC CEO Kim Dokyung and Aileen Banner, a representative of single-parent families.

In consultation with the organization, Trip.com provided warm blankets to help withstand the cold wave. The donated items will be directly delivered to migrant and multicultural single-parent families nationwide.

A lucky draw event to raise funds was also held during the event. Trip.com employees participated, and the raised funds will be delivered to EMC along with relief supplies.

Hong Jongmin, head of Trip.com Korea, said, “Through this event, we had a meaningful time to identify the difficulties faced by various types of families living in Korea and to consider ways to live together. As Trip.com’s mission is to pursue the perfect trip for a better world, we will continue to carry out and expand activities to support neighbors in need.”
