Korea Seven Receives Presidential Citation for '2022 Job Creation Merit'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Korea Seven announced on the 13th that it received the Presidential Citation at the ‘2022 Job Creation Merit Government Awards Ceremony’ hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

The Job Creation Merit Government Award is a government award system that recognizes individuals and organizations who contribute to creating good jobs by increasing the number of jobs or leading improvements in job quality to foster a job creation atmosphere.

Korea Seven was highly recognized for its contributions to improving job quality through operating youth-friendly recruitment systems, expanding regular employee conversions, preferential hiring of socially disadvantaged groups, and establishing an integrated labor-management exchange culture after mergers and acquisitions, receiving the Presidential Citation. Specifically, it received positive evaluations for ▲expanding internship opportunities to enhance job competencies ▲expanding regular employee conversions to alleviate youth employment instability ▲operating a fair regional recruitment system ▲increasing female recruitment ▲discovering suitable job roles for persons with severe disabilities ▲forming an integrated labor-management council after mergers and acquisitions.
