Angry 'Kkungdari Shabara' Kang Won-rae Donates 4 Murals to Daegu Indongchon Baeknyeon Village Gangwonrae, the artist, is explaining the mural he painted in the alleys of Baeknyeon Village, Indongchon, Seo-gu, Daegu.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-sun] Kang Won-rae (53), a dancer-turned-singer from the group Clon, known for singing "Kkungdari Shabara," has donated artwork to Baeknyeon Village in Indongchon, Seo-gu, Daegu.


On the 12th, the Seo-gu Office of Daegu announced, "Kang Won-rae, who was once a famous dancer and singer but is currently active as a painter, recently painted and donated four murals in the alleys of Baeknyeon Village in Indongchon, expressing the village's peace and prosperity."


In gratitude, the Indongcho Baeknyeon Village Cooperative (Chairman Kim Jeong-seop) presented Kang Won-rae with a plaque of appreciation on the 9th, along with about 50 residents.


Kang Won-rae personally signed the mural artworks and also signed for residents one by one, taking selfies together while saying, "I am honored that my works are displayed in Indongchon Baeknyeon Village, and I hope to continue this good relationship in the future."


Originally from Pohang, Gyeongbuk, Kang Won-rae gained great popularity as a dancer and singer in 1990, but after a serious traffic accident in November 2000, he has recently been active as a painter.
