Dongdaemun-gu to Present Play 'Tomorrow to Tomorrow' on 17th at 3 PM in Dongdaemun-gu Office 2nd Floor Auditorium
Same Performance as Daehakro Production Showcased in Dongdaemun-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) will present the play "Tomorrow to Tomorrow" as a cultural event for children and adolescents at 3 PM on the 17th in the auditorium on the 2nd floor of Dongdaemun-gu Office.
This event was organized to provide children and adolescents with opportunities to enjoy culture and arts and to help them grow up healthily.
The play "Tomorrow to Tomorrow" is based on the novel of the same name by writer Kim Sun-young, which was selected as a recommended book by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and a must-read for youth, recognized for its literary value. The performance faithfully captures the emotional impact of the novel.
The play depicts a high school girl working part-time at a cafe, meeting various customers who visit the cafe, sharing each other's pains, and growing through these experiences. It offers a heartwarming resonance that comforts all of us and allows us to reflect on the importance of friends and family.
The event will be held with free admission on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 2:30 PM, and is open to viewers aged 8 and above. The performance lasts 80 minutes, and preschool children may attend if accompanied by a guardian.
A district official stated, "We brought the play currently being performed in Daehangno directly to Dongdaemun-gu Office so that residents can experience the atmosphere of Daehangno up close. We also set up photo zones to create enjoyable memories. We hope that Dongdaemun-gu youth can gain the strength to live fully in the present through this work."
