[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Gyeongnam Office of Education is implementing a real-time consultation service for the Gyeongnam Education Administration Information System NEIS (National Education Information System) academic affairs using the KakaoTalk channel.
On the 9th, the provincial Office of Education announced that it will provide chat consultations regarding Gyeongnam NEIS academic affairs for teachers, students, and parents.
According to the Office of Education, anyone can use the chat consultation service without separate membership registration by searching for Gyeongnam Office of Education NEIS on KakaoTalk and adding the channel.
Users of NEIS can inquire about ▲academic affairs system usage such as student records, student life, grades, and school life records ▲student and parent services ▲work portal ▲remote work support system (EVPN), and receive answers.
Anyone can ask questions anytime and anywhere, and an automatic response service is provided for major inquiries.
The Office of Education stated that this expands the service from the previously operated phone and internet consultations to real-time KakaoTalk consultations, and plans to diversify support methods with the launch of the 4th generation intelligent NEIS next year.
An Seung-gi, Director of the Education Information Division, said, “This will significantly and promptly alleviate the workload of teachers through NEIS,” adding, “We will efficiently operate the NEIS user support center and activate user support to ensure smooth processing of NEIS academic affairs.”
