Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae Holds 2023 Application Project Grant Delivery Ceremony and Guidance Training

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong·Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the afternoon of the 9th that it held a grant delivery ceremony and implementation guidance training for the 2023 application project executing organizations at the Gwangju 5·18 Education Center.


The 2023 application project is a public contest-type project that accepts welfare project applications on free topics and distributes funds accordingly.


Twenty-nine organizations (25 program sites and 4 function reinforcement sites) were selected through a rigorous screening process, and a total distribution fund of 419,469,000 KRW will be provided.


This implementation guidance training was conducted by certified public accountant Lee Jonggeun of Samdeok Accounting Corporation, covering the 2023 application project schedule and accounting guidelines for distributed projects.


The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea conducts accounting evaluations through accounting firms to ensure transparency and reliability in the use of distribution funds.


Kim Jingon, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, said, “We hope that the carefully selected projects will help alleviate local welfare needs to some extent and contribute to positive changes in the community, leading to successful project execution. We will continue to do our best through various projects to help neighbors in difficulty around us overcome crises.”
