[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Samsung C&T has carried out executive personnel changes, promoting two female executives to vice presidents.
Samsung C&T announced its regular 2023 executive personnel changes on the 9th, promoting a total of 22 people, including 8 vice presidents and 14 managing directors.
In this personnel change, Ko Hee-jin (54) and Park Nam-young (51), managing directors in the fashion division, were promoted to vice presidents, marking the first time two female vice presidents have been appointed. Vice President Ko previously served as head of the Beanpole Business Division in the fashion sector, head of global sourcing, and managing director of the Eight Seconds Business Division. Vice President Park served as head of the Beanpole Business Division, in charge of strategic planning, and managing director of the Overseas Products Division 2 in the fashion sector.
Samsung C&T explained, "Based on the principle of performance-oriented personnel management, we have selected the next generation of leaders with outstanding expertise and abundant field experience."
