Hana Financial Group Wins Gold at the World's Top 3 Advertising Festivals 'Clio Sports Awards'

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Hana Financial Group announced on the 9th that its 'Everyone's Dribble' campaign video, produced in collaboration with the Korea Professional Football League and the Community Chest of Korea, won the Gold Award at the 'Clio Sports Awards 2022,' one of the world's top three advertising festivals.


The Clio Awards, along with the Cannes International Advertising Festival and the New York Festival, are recognized by the International Advertising Association (IAA) as one of the world's top three advertising festivals. Since 2014, they have established a sports category to honor works that contribute to the development of sports culture.


Hana Financial's Everyone's Dribble is part of the 'Everyone's Football Field, Everyone's K League' campaign, a project started in 2020 to improve accessibility for people with mobility challenges in the K League. Fans directly participated in creating guide maps for the mobility-impaired, helping to spread empathy for socially vulnerable groups. Additionally, through the 'Carbon Zero Challenge' involving K League clubs and football fans, Hana Financial has led positive changes in various fields, including eco-friendly activities such as the 'Green Kickoff.'


A Hana Financial Group official stated, "As the title sponsor of the K League, Hana Bank goes beyond a simple sponsorship relationship with the Korea Professional Football League, working together not only in sports but also in various environmental, social, and governance (ESG) projects to create social value." They added, "Hana Financial Group will continue to spread positive influence through sports and practice sincere ESG management for diverse social members."


Hana Bank has been an official sponsor of the South Korean national football team since 1998, and Hana Financial Group operates Daejeon Hana Citizen, a professional football club promoted to K League 1 last month on the 29th. In addition, they are engaged in ESG activities through sports, including operating the Hana One Q Women's Professional Basketball Team and sponsoring less popular winter sports such as luge and roller sports.
