Shinhan DS Opens Shinhan Financial Cloud Integrated Operation Center

A Single Space for Group-wide Cloud Operation and Monitoring

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Shinhan DS announced on the 9th that it held an opening ceremony for the 'Shinhan Financial Group Cloud Integrated Operation Center (hereinafter referred to as the Cloud Operation Center)' at Baeknyeon-gwan, Shinhan Financial Group, located in Jung-gu, Seoul, which operates and manages the entire group’s cloud.

At the event, key figures of Shinhan Financial Group, including Chairman Cho Yong-byeong, Shinhan Bank President Jin Ok-dong, and Shinhan DS CEO Cho Kyung-sun, attended to celebrate the opening of the Cloud Operation Center, which will lead the group’s digital transformation.

With this, Shinhan DS has established an integrated response system by consolidating the operation and monitoring of the entire group’s cloud in one space, enabling rapid response in case of failures. In addition, it plans to promote ▲24/7 continuous monitoring of cloud resources ▲provision of specialized operational services by concentrating operational personnel within the center ▲cost efficiency through integrated cloud operation of group companies.
