[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Dong-A Pharmaceutical announced on the 9th that it donated the sales proceeds from its children's gargle product to the Seoul Grand Park Zoo as a companion fund.

The companion fund is a fund jointly established by the Korea National Trust for Nature Conservation and Seoul Grand Park. It is used for activities aimed at preserving the species of plants and animals through corporate collaboration.

This donation was made as part of Dong-A Pharmaceutical's 'SAVE2SAVE' campaign, contributing the sales proceeds from the children's gargle product to the companion fund. The fund will be used to improve the habitats of animals such as rhinoceroses, tigers, and elephants within the Seoul Grand Park Zoo.

Last year, Dong-A Pharmaceutical signed a business agreement for the SAVE2SAVE campaign to protect endangered animals with Seoul Grand Park and the Korea National Trust for Nature Conservation. On June 5th, in celebration of 'World Environment Day,' about 130 employees participated in a mural painting volunteer activity at the Seoul Grand Park Zoo.

A Dong-A Pharmaceutical official said, “We are pleased that the sales proceeds from the children's gargle product can be used for animal welfare,” adding, “We will continue to contribute to nature and humanity by protecting endangered animals along with children's oral health and creating social value.”
