[Breaking News] China’s November Consumer Prices Rise 1.6%... In Line with Forecasts

[Asia Economy Beijing=Special Correspondent Kim Hyunjung] On the 9th, the National Bureau of Statistics of China announced that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for November rose by 1.6% compared to the same period last year. This figure shows a slowdown in the rate of increase compared to the previous month (2.1%) and matches the experts' forecast (1.6%).


In the same month, the Producer Price Index (PPI) fell by 1.3% year-on-year, remaining the same as the previous month. The market forecast (-1.4%) was slightly exceeded.
