[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Inje University Ilsan Paik Hospital announced on the 9th that it has signed a designated hospital and medical support agreement with the professional basketball team Goyang Carrot Jumpers. The signing ceremony took place during halftime of the game against Jeonju KCC held at Goyang Gymnasium the day before.
Ilsan Paik Hospital will provide professional treatment and rehabilitation services to the Carrot Jumpers basketball team. It will also offer medical services to ensure prompt medical care in case of emergencies during home games through medical support. Goyang Carrot Jumpers will also carry out activities such as donations for children with incurable diseases and social contribution activities together with Ilsan Paik Hospital.
Hospital Director Lee Sung-soon said, "We are pleased to continue medical support with the newly established team Carrot Jumpers, based in Goyang Special City," and added, "We will provide high-quality medical services so that the players can demonstrate their best performance."
Ilsan Paik Hospital had provided medical support for eight years since the 2014 season to the Orion professional basketball team, which was based in Goyang Special City.
