Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 9th that it held a 'Meeting with the Artist' event with broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo on the 8th to celebrate the opening of the GAZE 'Art for everyone' exhibition project.
The event, held at the Iconic Zone of Shinsegae Duty Free's main store, was attended by 30 people invited through an Instagram event. After discussing nine works by Jeon Hyun-moo, a signing session took place. Participants were given goods created through a collaboration between the new work 'Teu.Min.Nam' and the domestic street casual brand 'Acme de la vie.'
This project, aimed at supporting visual arts organizations, carries the message that 'everyone can enjoy art.' The project was prepared in collaboration with the art curation platform 'LIMAA' and features free exhibitions and donation challenges that can be viewed at the art space and media facade of Shinsegae Duty Free's main store.
A Shinsegae Duty Free official said, "This event was a time for direct communication and bonding between artist Jeon Hyun-moo, who is gaining attention for his intense painting style, and the participants," adding, "Shinsegae Duty Free will continue differentiated art management activities through various exhibitions and experiential projects."
